On the set of Victor Fleming’s 1943 film A Guy Named Joe, a ghostly romantic weepie about a deceased World War II bomber pilot (Spencer Tracy) made while The War to End All Wars still raged. Steven Spielberg remade the movie in 1989 as Always.
