The Counselor – scheduled to open October 25 – is based on an original screenplay by No Country for Old Men novelist Cormac McCarthy and details the messy aftermath of a lawyer’s foray into drug trafficking. Michael Fassbender plays the titular ambulance chaser. The cast also features Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Penelop Cruz and Javier Bardem, who has officially displaced John Travolta as the actor most likely to opt for bizarro hair.
